The translation of Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim contains the translation of the authentic hadiths in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Sahih Bukhari is a collection of hadiths compiled by Imam Bukhari (full name: Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughirah al-Ju'fi), who lived between 194 and 256 Hijri.

This collection of hadiths is considered one of the best among Sunni Muslims because Bukhari used very strict criteria in selecting the hadiths. He spent 16 years compiling this collection and produced 2,602 hadiths in his book (9,802 with repetition).

Al-Jami' or commonly known as Sahih Muslim is a collection of hadiths compiled by Imam Muslim (full name: Abul Husain Muslim bin al-Hajjaj al-Naisaburi), who lived between 202 and 261 Hijri. He was a student of Imam Bukhari.

Sahih Muslim is divided into several books, each book consisting of several chapters. The titles of these chapters reflect Imam Muslim's understanding of the hadiths contained within them. Sahih Bukhari, along with Sahih Muslim, is referred to as ash-Shahihain (The Two Authentic Books).

Kitab Shahih Bukhari and Kitab Shahih Muslim are the most authentic hadith collections when compared to other collections. These two authentic books are also known as As-Shahihain (which roughly translates to "the two authentic books" in Indonesian), but not all authentic hadiths are found in these As-Shahihain collections.
